BSN Medical Hypafix Transparent Film Roll is a transparent, waterproof elastic tape with a polyurethane film coating for added protection against the wound. The waterproof film optimizes protection and a bacterial barrier offers better protection, reducing the risk of wound maceration. The extra thin film conforms to the skin and acts like an additional layer so you won't even know it's there. A newly-designed application process makes it easier to put on and take off the film. It's also virtually painless, making the transition from one piece to the next very simple.
Hypafix is flexible enough to conform to the skin and stretches in order to bind better. It's also durable enough to be worn in a pool or the shower without having to worry about peeling or falling off. These are perfect for either at-home or in-office use and is flexible enough to fit anywhere on the body. Hypafix's main indications are for waterproof area fixation of wound dressing on joints and extremities, waterproof fixation of instruments, catheters, measuring devices and probes as well as hygienic fixation of ointment dressings. They are available in four sizes and each box has 12 rolls.
