Convatec Aquacel Ag Burn Hydrofiber Sterile Dressing is specially designed for use on partial thickness burns. This absorbent dressing is a soft, sterile and non-woven hydroentangled comprised of Hydrofiber with nylon thread. It absorbs high amounts of wound fluid, bacteria and creates a soft, cohesive gel that intimately conforms to the wound surface. It also maintains a moist environment and aids in the removal of non-viable tissue from the wound.
AQUACEL® Burn dressings offer wear times of up to 21 days (or until change is clinically indicated) and gently detach from the burn wound as it dries and heals.
Flexibility in dressing sizes and designs — including gloves — promotes patient mobility and satisfaction.
